 Alcoholics Anonymous (Big Book) 1939 First Edition, With Original Dust Jacket in Clamshell Box

First Printing 1939 wth the Original Dust Jacket. Dust jacket is a bit faded on spine and very slightly worn and torn. There are some old tape discolorations along the front edge of the dust jacket, the rear edge of the dust jacket and in the lower left corner of the rear panel. There is an old library label affixed to the lower portion of the spine. Book is VG ++ with Good + dj.

This book was owned by Sgt. Oscar Futral and given to Kay and K.C. Stewart on July 25, 1971. Inscribed "July 25, 1971 To Kay & KC. From Oscar For Ever". Oscar was a Police Sgt. who was very active in "Institutional A.A." and started the "Jail Inn" Group at the Summit County Jail in Akron, Ohio... Part of the "Kay Stewart Collection"

The book is tight, no hinge problems, no bumping to corners, clean. The only real defect is the light fading to the spine. Overall the book is in VERY GOOD condition.

This book is in very good condition with no writing, missing or torn pages. The owners name and address is on the front page, yellowing to pages, and a stain to bottom exterior of pages.
