One of the most anticipated books of our time. The Book That Started It All: The Original Working Manuscript is the missing link between Bill Wilson's first draft of Alcoholics Anonymous and the first edition.

In January 1939 Bill Wilson and other AA founders distributed 400 copies of his typescript to other "who might be concerned with the problem of alcoholism," to get input. When these loan copies were returned, they were returned with many messages, suggested changes.
